Terms of use

These terms of use govern access to and use of CFCDB — Caribbean Film Crew Database, published by ANISOTROPIE. By creating an account or browsing the site, you agree to these terms.

Service purpose

CFCDB is an open source professional directory and job board for Caribbean audiovisual professionals. The service lets you publish a profile, browse jobs, apply and contact members according to available features.

User account

  • You must provide a valid email address and a secure password (minimum 12 characters).
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • Email verification (OTP) is required at registration.
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) may be enabled; it is mandatory for administrator accounts.

Published content

You warrant the accuracy of your profile, portfolio and application content. Unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading content or content infringing third-party rights is prohibited. CFCDB may moderate, hide or remove non-compliant content.

Messaging and communications

Internal messaging, job applications and report comments are subject to the same automatic moderation rules. These exchanges are for professional audiovisual-related purposes only. Messages are automatically screened before delivery to prevent abuse. The following are prohibited in particular:

  • Sharing direct contact details (phone number, email address, social networks, contact links);
  • Racist, antisemitic, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic or hate-inciting language;
  • Threats, harassment, severe insults and incitement to violence;
  • Unlawful content (exploitation, trafficking, praise of criminal acts);
  • Spam, misleading content or attempts to bypass moderation.

Exchanges must remain courteous and professional. CFCDB may block delivery, hide a message or suspend an account in case of breach. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team.

Intellectual property

Project source code is released under the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 licence (see LICENSE and NOTICE at the repository root). Use, modification and re-hosting are permitted for noncommercial purposes only, with mandatory source attribution. Any derivative work must be distributed under this same licence. Site graphics, texts and structure remain protected. You retain rights to content you publish and grant CFCDB a non-exclusive licence to display it within the service.

Availability and liability

CFCDB is provided « as is ». The publisher strives for availability without guaranteeing uninterrupted access. The publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site or relationships between members.

Reporting

Abusive content or behaviour may be reported through the dedicated forms. The moderation team reviews reports within reasonable timeframes.

Changes and termination

These terms may be updated; the revision date appears at the top of this page. You may delete your account at any time from your member area. The publisher may suspend an account in case of serious breach.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the publisher's registered office, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
